Hey everyone, this is Jon again.

Class work is winding down and at the same time getting rather hectic. Thankfully most of the classwork is now managed in teams and are planned out rather nicely, so there's that feeling of relief there. I'll be letting everyone know about the projects from said classwork in the near future, but for now, I have a few brief announcements:

I've been on a Sierra adventure games kick for the past few weeks, namely the first two Quest for Glory games! The mixture of point-and-click/text parser adventure and RPG elements into one game have always made these games truly enjoyable!

Thanks to everyone's vote in the last journal, I'll be reviewing those games in comic format hopefully sometime this week!

Speaking of Sierra adventure games, a few of the original employees of the Sierra Online game company have made projects on Kickstarter to begin their projects:

Al Lowe of Leisure Suit Larry fame is planning on remaking the original Leisure Suit Larry games with the help of Josh Mandel, Paul Trowe and the rest of Replay Games! I'll be honest, I'm not too big on sex jokes, but there were a lot of things that cracked me up in the original Leisure Suit Larry games, especially the "bomb on the airport" gag from the second game.

Also I approve of an artist/game developer defending their work without the shenanigans of big corporate mentality spoiling the fun for everyone. So help out Al Lowe by
backing this project!

Jane Jensen, the creator of Gabriel Knight, is gathering up funds to create a new game studio called "Pinkerton Road." The studio contains a business model where customers are allowed to play the Pinkerton Road games they want for the entire year they subscribe, in a system much like the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model. has released a video on working on independent projects on Youtube!

Definitely give it a look
through this link, it's very motivational and gives a solid idea of how a good project is made!

My best friend and little brother

has hit the ripe age of 22 yesterday. Belated as it is, still go ahead and wish him a happy birthday!
And that's all I have to report for now. Hope everyone's doing well! Until then, see ya! :waves:
PS: Seriously, I don't know when the comic will be finished, but I'll get it drawn and posted soon-ish.
