Number eight of my requested pics of 2008. I have titled the requests: The Mage Hat Requests/MHR. (WHEN WILL YOU LEAVE ME ALONE!?! I COULDN'T THINK OF A BETTER NAME!!!
 Just kidding.)This pic was requested by  . He wanted a Final Fantasy Inverted version of his character: William Steelheart.  Now a lot of you think this will be my favorite once the first set is done, because it involves FFI... well we'll see.  His armor is mostly based on his normal Quest for Glory armor with a FFXI twist to it, (plus it's got the same Paladin colors! ) but I think it fits the Final Fantasy bill. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I also love what you did there with the transparent holy shield - nice touch!
Somehow I knew someone's gonna joke about the aggressive chibi looking as if he was going to slaughter the big guy.
I guess it's inspired by both Paladin's using white magic in Final Fantasy, and the Honor Shield from Quest for Glory.
